an accompaniment to longform essay youyouyouandiii
written as a part of research for Master Fine Art Graduation Project
through an exploration of the pronoun ‘you’ and its relationship with an unfixed ‘i’, this work reflects upon the ways in which everyday thoughts and opinions are heavily shaped by our relationships with close friends and loved ones. as an artist, these people we chat to daily heavily influence research and are heavily present in the work we produce.
